James Thomas has been a certified physician assistant since 2006. He graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Williams College in 1999. He received a master’s degree from Yale University in 2006. After graduation, he worked for the Orthopaedic Specialty Group in Fairfield, Connecticut, where he gained experience in joint replacement surgery. Before moving to Colorado, he spent six years practicing sports medicine in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Outside of medicine, James’ other passion is cycling. He raced with the Yale University road cycling team from 2005 to 2006 and competed in the northeast region for 12 years. He also enjoys mountain biking, track cycling, skiing, and hiking.
