Physician Assistant to:
Ilya Igolnikov, MD

Lori Nacius hails from Chicagoland but now calls Boulder home. After her first career as an Outward Bound instructor, Lori decided to change careers and pursue a medical vocation. She attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where she earned her Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies.

She returned to the Boulder area in 2012 and has been working as a sports medicine PA ever since. Being a PA is a great venue to exercise Lori’s passion for working with injured people in a capacity to bring them back to a healthy state.

Whether her patient is a professional athlete, a college student looking to improve their fitness level, or a retired person focused on maintaining their health, Lori believes that everyone deserves the time and attention from their medical provider to create a blueprint to help them accomplish their health and wellness goals.

Patient Comments

“I always get prompt & excellent care.” – Cleve C.

I like Lori Nacius very much.” – Mary J.

“Lori Nacius performed an outstanding diagnosis and wisely sent me immediately to the emergency room for follow up. The hospital running X-ray, CAT scan and MRI zones in on a Vertebral Compression Fracture on T 12 of about 12%.” – Daniel M.

"Lori is amazing. She listens and probes to find out what is really going on. She explains the next steps and possible treatments. I really like that she does not just offer pain meds. In fact, she tries to avoid them and looks to fix the root cause. So many providers treat the symptom and not the cause that dealing with Lori is refreshing. I would not want to go anywhere else.” – Johnny M.
