Fellowship-Trained Spine Surgeon Dr. Benjamin Bjerke Joins BoulderCentre for Orthopedics
Benjamin T. Bjerke, MD, Mayo Clinic–trained spine surgeon, has joined BoulderCentre for Orthopedics as of Aug. 1. Patients in need of orthopedic or neurosurgical care for injuries and conditions of the spine are encouraged to call (303) 449-2730 to schedule an appointment.
As a fellowship-trained spine surgeon, Dr. Bjerke is dedicated to providing a modern and comprehensive approach to spinal care, with a focus on patient safety and individualized medicine. His expertise includes cervical spine surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, motion-preserving spine surgery, stereotactic computer-aided navigation in spine surgery and scoliosis.

Dr. Bjerke earned his medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, where he went on to complete his orthopedic surgery residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery. After his residency, Dr. Bjerke chose to undergo extensive specialty training through a neurosurgery and orthopedic spine surgery fellowship at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
