“Dr. Bjerke was professional, compassionate, and kind to me every step of the way. He seemed genuinely sad for me when the x-ray came back showing what my problem was. He and his staff were very sensitive to my financial situation (I have no insurance and little money) and did everything they could to make sure that I could get the care I needed affordable, and that I knew all the treatment options available. There were so many big and little things that Dr. Bjerke did to help visit as helpful, informative, and painless as possible that I am honestly a fair bit overwhelmed by it all. If I’d had an experience like this every time I visited a doctor throughout my life, I would feel a lot less traumatized by and fearful of my interactions with the medical profession in general. I mean, he talked to me like I’m an intelligent person who knows her own body and didn’t look down on me because I don’t have much money. It’s borderline tragic how rare that is. In my experience, Dr. Bjerke embodies the best of his profession, and I feel lucky to have been seen by him.”

“I am so pleased to have been referred to Dr. Bjerke. He explained the conditions of my lower back and based on my history recommended a minimally invasive surgery. We have been able to schedule the operation quickly, and I am looking forward to completing that and being able to enjoy a fuller lifestyle again. Dr. Bjerke joins Drs. Paul and Leland as experts who I have direct experience with at BoulderCentre for Orthopedics and who I hold in very high esteem.”

“A friendly lady at the check-in counter. All staff members were friendly. The doctor gave me exercises to work on my sore shoulder. Had x-rays done on both my knee and my shoulder? He wants me to be sure and call him on Monday to see how the pain in my knee is doing. Explained everything to me while looking at the x-rays.”

“Dr. Seng is professional and polished with his explanations of health issues and offers a clear path to multiple solutions in the future. This is my second surgery with Dr. Seng and both experiences have been outstanding. Well, as outstanding as a surgery can go at least.”

“At age 80 I knew it would not be too many more years before I would become a senior citizen. Wanting to stay active biking, skiing, playing tennis and hiking I had to have both knees replaced. It was recommended that continuing to ride my bike would definitely help in my recovery. Always heeding Dr. Rector's advice I rode every day I could. Knees worked great but riding created great pain in my right arthritic shoulder. Dr. Folkerson replaced the shoulder and riding was then pain-free. All this time I was aiming to be prepared to ride back to attend my 60th college class reunion in Tiffin Ohio. After 1350 miles, I accomplished my goal. At present, I only have one problem. I asked Dr. Rector how many miles my knees were good for and he said they were good for 10,000 miles of riding. I have now exceeded the 10,000 miles and I am not sure what is going to happen.I will report back if they fail anytime soon as I am still riding. One last question I did ask was if there was any problem skiing. His response was no problem but advised me to stay out of the moguls and don't fall. I can report now that was good advice but unfortunately, I was not able to avoid either. After a violent crash in the moguls and being ejected from my skies my knees and shoulder came out in great condition. However, it did not keep me away from my favorite orthopedic center as Dr. Masters is treating my broken wrist. Prevents me from biking so my knees should last a little longer.”
