Dr. Adam Holzmeister is a board-certified, fellowship-trained hip and knee replacement surgeon specializing in the treatment of hip and knee arthritis. He has particular interests in minimally invasive muscle-sparing knee replacement (subvastus approach) and hip replacement (direct anterior approach), robotic-assisted surgery, and the personalization, rather than standardization, of joint reconstruction. Additionally, Dr. Holzmeister focuses on rapid recovery with many patients undergoing outpatient same-day joint replacement surgery. He also treats orthopedic fractures and performs complex revision hip and knee replacement, including infections of the hip and knee.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana before attending Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois, to complete his Doctor of Medicine degree. He then attended Loyola University Medical Center for his orthopedic surgery residency before pursuing a hip and knee adult reconstruction fellowship at Loma Linda University in California.

Using patient-centric care and drawing from his own personal experience as an orthopedic patient, Dr. Holzmeister helps patients pursue appropriate management of their musculoskeletal health with their interests at the forefront. As an expert orthopedic surgeon, he aims to provide patients with personalized care that best fits their individual needs.
