Ingrid Ching DPT, CMPT, ATC

Ingrid Ching has over 30 years of experience working as a physical therapist in multiple settings. She has worked in outpatient orthopedics/sports medicine clinics, specializing in the treatment of spine and sports injuries to the knee, shoulder, and ankle. As both a therapist and an athletic trainer, Ingrid has treated high school, college, Olympic, and professional athletes. She is a certified manual therapist with training in Maitland and NAIOMT manual therapy techniques as well as McConnell taping.

Since moving to Colorado, Ingrid has worked at Boulder Community Health, Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center, private practice clinics, and Boulder Bone & Joint. Her doctoral dissertation was comparing physical therapy treatments of patellofemoral pain.

Interests

Ingrid believes patient education, finding the source of the problem or pain, using evidence-based treatments, and a team approach that involves the surgeon, therapist, and patient is the key to achieving optimal outcomes. She has a special interest in treating the female athlete.

Ingrid is a self-proclaimed foodie, avid cyclist, and skier. She enjoys camping, hiking, snowshoeing, and mountain biking with her pack of Siberian Huskies.
