After several months of neglecting elbow tendinopathy in my left elbow, an otherwise uneventful tumble on skis resulted in a pretty painful and debilitating injury. Incredulous, I downplayed the pain and waited a week before receiving medical attention. I messaged fellow ski patroller Dr. Khemarin Seng, and he suggested I come in for an examination. Imaging revealed a complete tear of my triceps tendon, and surgery was advised. Khem and team did a great job reattaching my tendon. The recovery process for an injury like this is a long road, but nearly a year later, I am back on skis and functioning at 100%.
