I was experiencing searing back pain due to a ganglion cyst on my lower lumbar spine; in addition, I had bulging discs (L4-5). I had never had back issues before, it seemed to come out of nowhere!!!! The pain eventually ramped up to a point where I was crawling on the floor, and that is when I went to the ER, at St. Anthony's North and had surgery on February 20, 2025 performed by Dr. Robert Harper, (5 weeks after total knee replacement, performed by Dr. Adam M. Holzmeister, which also was a huge success!) Dr. Harper was amazingly attentive, supportive and empathetic and described what was going on and what the procedure would involve. I now recommend Dr. Harper to anyone who has any kind of spinal issues!!! Fast forward one year, and I am running, cycling, mountain biking, and skiing, and am experiencing zero pain, and I have great mobility!! I truly thought my active life was going to now be in my rear view mirror, but one year later I'm stronger than ever!!! Thanks to Dr. Robert Harper, and Dr. Adam Holzmiester!!
