Alex grew up in San Diego but relocated to Boulder in 2009 to complete his bachelor's degree at the University of Colorado and has been here ever since. He worked as an emergency department and trauma technician prior to obtaining his master of science in physician assistant studies. As an avid outdoor enthusiast, he is passionate about helping others improve their mobility and pursue the activities they love. He's thrilled to be part of the team at BoulderCentre for Orthopedics & Spine so that he can continue to support this uniquely active community.
Alex is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and works as a physician assistant specializing in hip and knee joint replacements and revisions.

In his free time, you will usually find Alex outside. He enjoys skiing, rafting, mountain biking, climbing, and fly fishing. If you happen to catch him indoors, he's probably cooking something elaborate.
