I was admitted to Foothills Hospital on 01/25/26 after a hockey fall. The next day, 01/26/26, I had a consult with Dr. Steven Gross, who explained the upcoming Procedure to me, the patient, and my two daughters. We all felt confident with the operation and what the outcome would be. I was up and moving the next day with the assistance of a walker and came home on 01/27/26 with instructions. I am now walking on my own with no aid and ready to add more exercise to my agenda. My recovery is ahead of the curve, and I hope to be back on the ice playing hockey before the expected date.
