Dr. Meredith Mayo, a Stanford-trained shoulder and sports medicine surgeon, has joined the team of experts at BoulderCentre for Orthopedics & Spine. Offering the highest level of care for sports-related bone, joint and muscle injuries as well as advanced treatment for the shoulder, Dr. Mayo is available to see patients in Boulder at 4740 Pearl Parkway, Suite 200, and in Lafayette at 1000 W. As a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in advanced care for sports-related injuries as well as elbow, knee and shoulder conditions of all kinds. Having undergone extensive training, Dr. Mayo is highly skilled at delivering a wide array of surgical and nonsurgical treatment options, from joint injections to minimally invasive repair for the knee and shoulder.

Dr. Mayo earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. She went on to complete her general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora. Dr. Mayo went on to train further through an exclusive sports medicine and shoulder fellowship at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, where she gained extensive clinical and surgical training in the latest treatments and techniques in bone, joint and muscle care for sports-related injuries and a wide array of shoulder needs.
