BoulderCentre for Orthopedics & Spine Welcomes Two New, Fellowship-Trained Experts
BoulderCentre for Orthopedics & Spine will grow to include 15 doctors with the addition of fellowship-trained hip and knee reconstruction specialist Dr. Erik Bowman and fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity specialist Dr. Kathleen Kollitz. Beginning Aug. 17, Dr. Bowman will be available to see patients in Boulder at 4740 Pearl Parkway, Suite 200, and in Lafayette at 1000 W. South Boulder Road, Suite 218. Dr. Kollitz will also be available at both locations starting Aug. 31. Patients can call (303) 449-2730 to schedule a safe in-office appointment. Telehealth visits are also available for remote orthopedic consultation.
As a fellowship-trained hip and knee reconstruction and revision surgeon, Dr. Bowman specializes in treating arthritis and chronic hip and knee pain. He uses the latest surgical procedures as well as conservative care. Dr. Kollitz is a fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity surgeon who specializes in providing nonsurgical and surgical care for disorders of the hand, wrist, and elbow, including nerve, tendon, ligament, and joint injuries and conditions.

Dr. Bowman is a graduate of The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He later underwent additional subspecialty training in adult reconstruction of the hip and knee at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. For her medical degree, Dr. Kollitz attended Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina, before completing her orthopedic surgery residency at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minnesota. After residency, she completed her fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
