Two Advanced Specialists Join BoulderCentre for Orthopedics & Spine

Dual-fellowship-trained sports medicine and shoulder and elbow surgeon Dr. Brian Davis and fellowship-trained joint replacement surgeon Dr. Adam Holzmeister are joining BoulderCentre for Orthopedics & Spine on Sept. 7. Both doctors are available to see patients at the practice’s offices in Boulder, located at 4740 Pearl Parkway, Suite 200, and in Lafayette, located at 1000 W. South Boulder Road, Suite 218. With fellowship training in both sports medicine and shoulder and elbow surgery, Dr. Davis specializes in sports-related injuries as well as shoulder, elbow and knee conditions of all kinds. His expertise includes minimally invasive arthroscopic joint repair as well as elbow and shoulder replacement, joint preservation and regenerative medicine. 

A fellowship-trained joint replacement specialist, Dr. Holzmeister offers advanced techniques and care for chronic hip and knee joint pain. His expertise includes hip and knee replacement, muscle-sparing hip replacement, partial knee replacement and fracture care.

Dr. Davis completed medical school at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora. He then attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston for his orthopedic surgery residency before pursuing an international surgical shoulder and elbow fellowship at the Lindenhofspital in Berne, Switzerland. Dr. Davis furthered his training with a sports medicine fellowship at the UCHealth Steadman Hawkins Clinic Denver in Englewood, where he served as a fellow team physician for the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. He then completed another year of fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery at Western Orthopaedics/Denver Shoulder and Rose Medical Center in Denver.

Dr. Holzmeister attended Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois, to complete his Doctor of Medicine degree. He then attended Loyola University Medical Center for his orthopedic surgery residency before completing an adult reconstruction fellowship at Loma Linda University in California, where he learned the latest in evidence-based care for degenerative joint conditions.
