“The nerve ablation on my right side has worked well. The process was a bit onerous in that it required two sessions of lidocaine injections before the actual ablation could be done. There was some discomfort, bearable, on the second lidocaine injection. Dr. Igolnikov said it was because he had to work around the hardware at the L4-L5 fusion. The ablation procedure was quite uncomfortable for a short time and might motivate me to request sedation next time. I appreciated Dr. Igolnikov's expertise, and the procedure has given me significant improvement from the lower back pain I've been dealing with.”
