Digital X-Ray

A digital X-ray is a type of medical imaging that uses special sensors to take pictures inside the body instead of traditional film. The images help doctors diagnose different injuries and orthopedic conditions.

Digital X-rays offer faster image acquisition and lower radiation exposure. They also can enhance images for better diagnostics and easy image storage and transfer.

Here's what you need to do on the day of your digital X-ray:

On the day of your digital X-ray:

  • Bring the doctor's order for the X-ray and your insurance card(s) to your appointment.
  • If you've had an X-ray before, bring the old films with you.
  • If you can't bring the old films, your appointment might need to be rescheduled.
