A certified hand therapist (CHT) is an occupational or physical therapist who specializes in the rehabilitation of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. Our hand therapists evaluate and develop individualized care plans that address the specific needs and treatment goals of our patients, always keeping the patient at the center of our focus. Therapy treatment may include wound and pin care, scar and edema management, motion restoration, therapeutic exercise, ergonomic recommendations, soft tissue mobilization, custom splint fabrication, modalities, and patient education.
