A certified hand therapist (CHT) is an occupational or physical therapist who specializes in the rehabilitation of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. Our hand therapists evaluate and develop individualized care plans that address the specific needs and treatment goals of our patients, always keeping the patient at the center of our focus. Therapy treatment may include wound and pin care, scar and edema management, motion restoration, therapeutic exercise, ergonomic recommendations, soft tissue mobilization, custom splint fabrication, modalities, and patient education. Our goal, and commitment, is to return our patients to an active lifestyle, free of pain.
As all our thoughts are on the COVID 19 pandemic, we want to share an update on how BoulderCentre for Orthopedics and Spine is responding. The safety and health of our patients and staff is of utmost importance.x
