Interests

At Stanford, Dr. Master developed the skills to perform minimally invasive surgery throughout the hand and upper extremities (hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder). More specifically, he became a skilled wrist arthroscopist, and he learned minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome, carpometacarpal arthritis, and wrist ligament injuries. He also developed skills to perform complex shoulder arthroscopy as well as primary and revision shoulder, elbow, and wrist arthroplasty for the treatment of arthritis. Dr. Master has extensive experience with tendon transfer surgery and pediatric hand surgery.

He lives with his wife and children in Boulder, CO. In his spare time, he enjoys rock climbing, backpacking, telemark skiing, and, most of all, spending time with his family.
